Niall
Brown belt and Head Coach, Niall, has been training BJJ since 2015 and competing since 2016. With a background in Muay Thai, boxing, MMA, wrestling and judo, his game is built on pressure, control and consistency. A multiple-time UK gold medalist across all belts, he is also a British & National Masters Champion and an IBJJF gold medalist at both purple and brown belt.
Alongside coaching adults, Niall finds working with kids especially rewarding, helping young students build confidence, discipline and a love for the sport.
Christina
Christina is a brown belt with over 20 years of experience in BJJ, beginning her martial arts journey in Judo as a child in Canada. She has competed nationally and internationally, earning medals at every belt rank, including double gold at the IBJJF Masters European Championships.
Passionate about coaching both adults and children, Christina blends play with deep technical knowledge and a commitment to building confident, resilient athletes. Her favourite submission is the armbar.
John
John is a brown belt with nearly 2 decades of martial arts experience, beginning in Tae Kwon Do and Kung Fu before finding BJJ at university. He has trained in the US and cross-trained in wrestling and judo, developing a love for the problem-solving nature of the sport.
Having competed from white through purple belt, John brings experience, patience and a dangerous armbar or cross-collar choke from the back.
Holly
Holly is a blue belt who began training in BJJ to feel empowered and more mentally stimulated just over 2 years ago. She finally found a sport she couldn’t get bored of. Splitting her training between Edinburgh and New York, she has competed State-side winning gold at Grappling Industries in New Jersey.
With a background in psychology and experience working with children, including those with autism, Holly brings empathy, focus and a sharp triangle submission to the mats.
Nick
Nick is a blue belt who has been training in BJJ for 3 years. What began as a fun challenge quickly became a passion for the sport and its competitive edge. He has competed in multiple tournaments, most recently earning silver at the IBJJF London Open.
Known for his calm approach and sharp armbars, Nick brings energy and dedication to every session.
